Well, Fridays Enigma again was solved using a computer program (but a very nice one – I enjoyed writing it!). Hope do one on paper soon.

Good Grand Prix, good Enigma this week (wrote a computer program; took me hours to debug it!!).

New word; diaphanous \dye-AF-uh-nuhss\: characterized by extreme delicacy of form : ethereal, insubstantial, vague.

MIR’s splashdown has also been delayed until Friday, and apparantly there’s going to be blizzards this evening!

I also just found out that Northern Exposure is on every night from 23.50 to 00.50 on ITV2. 🙂

Mir’s return to Earth has been delayed until March 20th. So that’ll be 3 days after my birthday then (hint hint <g>)

A letter/digit Enigma this week – nice one too (although doing it on the train caused me to miss my stop!!!). Probably 45-50 mins.

New word – thrasonical: Bragging or boastful.
Also added a new link to Ananova – the virtual newscaster.

Another new word – eupeptic: cheerful, optimistic.

Interesting enigma – did it by brute force in probably 45-50 minutes, but think there’s probably a trick I missed!
